I hope you are doing well. I just received my copy of Roger's "Live in Montreal" DVD. I absolutely love it more than words can express. It is truly priceless.

Please give Roger my best and tell him his voice is ageless! Unbelievable!!!

Hi Roger!  My name is Annie, I'm 25 and I live to Montreal.  You are my favorite artist of all since i'm 18 years old and I was curious about the Crime of the Century cover 33 tours.  At this time, the song and the lyrics of School changed all my vision of music, me and my best friend.  In September 2002, I had the BIG chance to take a picture with you at the Montreal Spectrum!!!

But now, my message is that: Congratulation because now, 23 September 2006, you are the NUMBER 1 selling DVD in the Archambault music stores (all Quebec).  I am very happy.  More and more young people learn to know you and appreciate your job!  I was at your show at Montreal, 6 June 2006 and the DVD is AWESOME!  I'm so happy to see the orchestra with you in Fool's overture because I've never seen it before.

Thank you Roger, thank you so much to give us the best music and voice of all time...

Annie

I have no idea if Roger himself will read this or someone else will proofread it for him but I had to mention this anyways.

It was a true pleasure to hear you sing on the radio in the early morning at CHOM FM in Montreal last summer. This brought back memories, beautiful memories, great teenage feelings and fantastic pleasures. Having seen Supertramp a few times, I knew that the band was a great band but I always knew that the heart & soul of the band was you.

I want to thank you so much for picking Montreal to produce this DVD I was tonight and I wish I was there. I am lucky to have been able to appreciate this music in the 70s and 80s as I went thru my teen age and beginning of adulthood. I became a musician in the mid 70s because of bands like Supertramp, Genesis, Pink Floyd. Those bands were icons ...

Again, thank you for making this musical experience thru the DVD.

Your generosity is palpable ... Your passion for music is also so great, it made me pick up my Guild 12 string (An F-412 in fact) and play Just a little bit.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for being such a great inspiration and for the fantastic memories. Hope to see you in Montreal again soon ...

Yves

Hey Roger!

I just purchased a copy of ''take the long way home''. Wow! Thanks again for giving me that opportunity at the place des arts. The performance is marvelous! And about that new song ''Oh brother'', it is definitely for me the best song of the show. The outstanding vocal partition shows a mature voice and awesome power that's way beyond what I thought possible from a guy your age...! Comparing to other rock singers from the 70's, it's suprising to how you kept everything from your voice, and even gained some... You definitely blew me away!

And about that fall tour?? No dates in Montreal? Anyway, I'll have to get to Sherbrooke I guess!

Roger!

I'm now 38 and just can't believe my ears listening to your Live DVD.  I saw you with Supertramp for the first time in 1979 at the QuÈbec ColisÈe, Canada, for my first experience at a live performance.  Bought all your LP's and CD's and now your DVD.  And it seems that your voice and talent never changed!  Well, i took this opportunity to let you know that you made my eyes ´wateringª at each song you perform on the DVD as i did in 1979.  I had then took pictures (i know it was forbidden!) that i can share with you if you would like. I have a favor i would like you to do.  I will attempt your show in QuÈbec city on november 1st 2006, and would simply like you to dedicate ´Schoolª to my wife who is teaching nursing for 4 years now and because this ´magical songª was playing the first time we met.  I know that you must receive thousands of mail like this, but if i don't ask....

Thanks again for your music and for you passion.

Pierre - QuÈbec city

P.s.  excuse my english, i'm a french speaking canadian...!!!

Roger HodgsonÂ’s Concert

June 6, 2006

---France Laferriere

Dear Roger, I've been listening to your music since I was nine (yes, it was Supertramp's first 'popular' album, Crime of the Century!) and I never got tired of hearing it. On the contrary, I love it even more now. Even if I was that young, I knew this was excellent music that would last through the years.  Last night's concert in Montreal proved it.  I had such a good time.  I was on a major high ever since I bought the tickets, so you can imagine how ready I was for this!  You were absolutely fantastic!  You made me sing, you made me clap my hands (which I hate doing!), you made me laugh!  I just love your sense of humour!  Thank you for a wonderful evening, it was the best concert I had seen in a long time.  I never had the chance to see Supertramp before, seeing as was living 500 miles up north from Montreal, so it was an honour for me to be in the same room with you.  I could say it was one of my dreams come true!  Thank you for the memories, thank you for bringing back the day when I first heard Dreamer, I loved your voice back then and I still do today, I hope you keep it for a long time!

Oh, I have to mention that I was there with my sister.  It was a birthday gift, and she really enjoyed herself too, just like everybody else in the room, I guess!

Encore une fois un gros merci et en passant, j'adore ton accent quand tu parles en francais! ;o)

Many blessings, hoping to see you again soon,

France

P.S.  They're playing Easy Does It on CHOM at the moment!  Cool!
