Now that it’s almost ANOTHER weekend….

This week has been non-stop craziness. It seems everything I touched turned to…well, you know. I upgraded my forum and it promptly “broke,” due to my own stupidity and impatience. :foot-in-mouth: It’s back, as of yesterday…what a relief.

OK, now for last weekend: I meant to post these much earlier but life had other plans.

The first batch of Hatch (that’s a little town in New Mexico) Green Chiles arrived about a week ago at Albertson’s. YESSSSS! It was a good crop this year. We bought some and Randy put them on the grill, roasted them, peeled them, finely chopped them and put them in freezer bags. (I’m not allowed in the kitchen.  LOL)  These will last all winter and maybe into spring if we’re not too greedy. LOL There’s nothing quite as wonderful as the smoky and sweet aroma of green chiles roasting. A little Santa Fe Preview. :jump:

Amanda and Alan’s wedding photos are now online. That’s my boss with the ring bearer, his grandson. (I’m just now getting to view them myself!) Randy and I had to leave early so we weren’t there when they were taking guest pictures. Bummer. But the Candlelight service for Walk to Emmaus was far better!! :angel:
