Still depressed over my own stupidity, plus some other things that aren’t important in the grand scheme of things, I haven’t felt much like blogging. I finally decided to go ahead and post something. Maybe it will make me feel better.
I saw something in the local newspaper that caught my interest yesterday. Naturally it involves spending money that I don’t have, but that’s the way it goes. I’ve decided to make this a goal for next year. I’ll start saving and maybe I’ll have the resources by then to make it happen.
The article was about a place in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico called Villa Amor. The article did say it was inexpensive. True, the rates are good, even in season. But then you have to factor in airfare and a minor detail called food. Plus other expenses unless you plan on sitting in your room 24/7, although sometimes I don’t think that’s such a bad idea. This place is beautiful, and is on the same latitude as the Hawaiian Islands. Since Hawaii is way out of reach, this might be a nice option. I’m about to go read some reviews on TripAdvisor.com…it looks like they’re all 4 and 5-star ratings, from what I saw yesterday. Something for me to think and dream about in between reality slaps.
And now, another week begins. Hope yours is good…
