Hard to believe, but another week is just about over. Seems like yesterday when I posted Picard and Co. rockin’ out. :dancingbanana2:

Busy season is about to begin at work. I can feel it bearing down on me like a freight train. This train won’t stop until right before Christmas. Oh no, not THAT word! :stop:

It’s “Tax-Free Weekend” here. That means I’ll be avoiding all stores like the plague, because everyone will be out en masse, trying to kill each other for those all-important back-to-school “bargains.” Unfortunately, groceries must be purchased EVEN EARLIER on Saturday morning so I can’t escape it completely. Food is not tax-free. It figures.

Willow has had a good week this week. She is still eating like a field hand and consuming mass quantities of water. Always a positive thing. Cats really must have 9 lives. Some of her old kitty ways have been evident, although she’ll never be 100% again. The bad thing about animals is that one day they seem ok and the next day they can be dying. Like flipping a switch. So I just never know what’s next…do any of us? I’m happy that she’s still with us and feeling pretty darn good, considering her condition.  It’s more than I ever expected.
