Another one bites the dust. :o)
Wow. I’ve survived to mark another year on this crazy planet. It’s funny how that has become a major accomplishment. This year has been topsy-turvy and has changed how I feel in a lot of ways.
Not to be a total downer, but back in February I wasn’t sure I was going to be around to see another birthday. After having day surgery, my blood pressure dropped to around 50/20 due to internal bleeding. (I think I’m the only person who can screw up a minor procedure. LOL) Speaking of topsy-turvy, I didn’t even get to enjoy the ride when the nurse flipped the table upside down that I was on. I can tell you that I never want ANY kind of surgery again, and that if I’m told I need it, I will seek out 2nd and 3rd opinions next time. I don’t care how insignificant it may seem to anyone else.
Apparently, I’m still around for some reason. Heck if I know what that is.
It’s only 7:22 a.m. as I write this, but I have already had a FANTASTIC day! I’m amazed at how blessed I am to have such awesome friends and family.
