Beginnings

Yesterday was my first day as a part-time worker, part-time student.  I was absolutely amazed at how much happier I felt.  I drove home at 11 a.m. with a smile on my face, knowing I wouldn’t be rushing back to work after lunch.  What a blessing!

I also got fantastic news from Susan when I called to check on her yesterday.  Her tumors are still shrinking!!!   I’m sure she’ll be blogging about it soon, so watch this space!

I transcribed from noon until 4 pm yesterday, with a 15-minute break around 2:30.  I’m now 50% done with Clinics and hope to keep progressing, God willing and hope to have hair left.

Afterward, we listened to Disc 1 of the Eagles new release, Long Road Out of Eden.   Can these guys do no wrong?  Their harmonies and music are timeless, even after all these years without a new studio album.  They’re an inspiration, and a reminder that age doesn’t have to stop you from being vital and doing what you love.  I think we’ll spin Disc 2 tonight.

Have a great weekend!

  3. that was supposed to read WISH, not with…

  4. It took me a while to get to a computer with internet access, but I have blogged, and the news is good. As I said in the blog, it was worth the price of admission to see my doctor do the “happy dance” because of the shrinkage of the tumors.
