Brian’s words echo in my head today. It seems that everyone around me, coworkers and friends alike, are struggling through some pretty serious trials lately. I don’t know why I have been spared. It’s a little bit unnerving, wondering when the Karmic wheel is going to spin my direction. A bad way to think, I know…but I can’t help feeling that way. It’s all around me and I’m paranoid. I can’t understand why these things are happening all around me, to those I care about. All I can do is continue to pray that things will improve for them. I’m very selfish and not a very proactive person but it’s the least I can do.
