I took my mid-term exam last night. I had one incorrect answer, with a score of 98%! I was proud but also disappointed in myself. The one I missed I was confused about, and although I did look up one of the words, I thought I was still correct in my answer, thinking it might be a “trick question.”
Here’s the one that got me. The correct answer seems so friggin’ obvious in retrospect! I guess that’s why I thought I was being tricked.
WORD DIFFERENTIATION. Choose the best answer (2 pt each)
3) There was no cyst formation, therefore, (adenocyst, adenosis) was ruled out as possible etiology.
Your Answer: adenosis
Correct Answer: adenocyst
:frustrated: Next time I’ll do more common sense and research when I’m not certain.
Now I’m in Editing and Proofreading sessions. The first part is commonly misspelled words. My high school UIL spelling is finally paying off! After this, I’ll be plugging in my new Shure E2c earphones, and stomping on the foot pedal that came with the course, in hope of understanding and transcribing what these doctors are trying to tell me.

98% !! That’s not bad at all! Congratulations with this very good mid term result!
Hey girl, I’m soooo proud of you!! Though, well if there was no cyst it’s obvious that there wasn’t an adenocyst either… LOL! Yeah, I know I’m rubbing it in. You’ve done great!! One wrong answer only shows that you’re human – and that the nerves got the better of you.
Way to go!!! :jump: :jump:
