Of Husbands and Haircuts
I had a hair appointment on Saturday. I get my hair cut every five weeks. It grows fast! I made the mistake of saying aloud that I was thinking of letting it grow out some, in front of Randy. Oops.
When I came out of the salon, my hair was actually much shorter, especially on top and in the back. I had Nathan leave it below the chin in the front, but it’s severely angled and layered toward the top because that’s the area that I have the most trouble with. Besides, I hate soccer mom haircuts. I like “different.” Maybe because I AM “different.” It looks kinda like this, except I have bangs. The hair is where the comparison ends to Ms. Beckham. LOL
He hated it. I got in the car and he said, “I thought you were gonna get a haircut!” *slight sarcasm* No, he wasn’t ugly about it or anything, but I knew the score. He told me he would have to get used to it, and that I like “weird haircuts.” Hey, weird suits me…like I said before! I like it, and he knows that’s what matters.
If he had his way, my hair would still be down to my waist. I can’t imagine dealing with that again at this point, I’m sorry. It was pretty, yes…but a pain to take care of. I literally don’t have the time nor energy. My hair takes about 5 minutes to blow dry now. That’s my kind of deal. Easy is good.
(NOT Ms. Beckham)
T-minus one week ’til Santa Fe. We’re going earlier this year, so that Jeff can go with us again. First, I’ve gotta plow through this week.

Gosh, this is the haircut I have!! – Well I would have if I didn’t let it grow out for so long between cuts… LOL!
Santa Fe is that close?! That’s awesome, I’m thrilled for you! You deserve it!
I like it alot!..Looks Chic!
