I feel good this morning. What a revelation.

We awoke to thunder and rain at 4:50 this morning, although the weather gurus had not predicted even the slightest chance. I love it when that happens, especially in late June. This has been the wettest summer so far that I can remember. I’m grateful for that life-giving moisture that keeps our honeysuckles and plants happy and green.

I finally finished 2 weeks’ worth of nasty antibiotics on Sunday, so that’s one reason I’m feeling better physically. They were wearing me out!

This morning I turned on BOB FM (don’t tell Randy!) and literally danced around in my home office to the song “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins. How dorky is that? I don’t even like the song that much! I really have no intelligent explanation for my actions. I felt a little like Tom Cruise in the movie Risky Business. I did have clothes on and didn’t jump on any couches, that’s the difference. LOL (Tom, please don’t sue me for this. )

As for Ozzy the cat, I haven’t seen him since Saturday. I hope and pray he found his owners, or at least a good and loving home. I miss him.
