I transcribed my first 5 Clinic note reports last night. I’m 2% done with Clinics. LOL I have to say…I love it so far! It’s way more fun than typing from text. So far, most of the differences in my reports and the comparison keys have been style issues, which is not counted against you. I was able to look up and verify two drug names I had not heard before, by checking my pharmaceutical word book. I also used the internet to verify that “landscapes” is an appropriate word to use in the context of examining someone’s eardrums (“tympanic membranes” in medicalese). At least I heard the word correctly!

Of course, these first few are the “easier” ones. I have to remember to take baby steps.

Gee, I only have 282 Clinics to go, 132 Intermediates, and 220 Advanced.

I guess you won’t be hearing much from me for awhile. Hopefully, after I complete this course and begin working from home, I’ll have time and energy for the fun stuff in my spare time. I really miss playing on the internet with my cyber friends. :yes:
