Spring in February

After an unusually cold winter for this part of Texas, we’re already seeing signs of spring. Well, at least in the form of temperatures. And that nasty ol’ West Texas wind that is determined to blow a gale (and dust) almost every single day. But I digress.

Yesterday was one of those perfect weather days. Just a light breeze, beautiful warm sunshine and blue skies. Randy and I sat out on the front sidewalk with Willow. She’s strictly an indoor cat but she loves her supervised outdoor ventures. It seems to help her illness, much like it does with humans I suppose.

This photo was taken during one of those forays into the outside world, back in late November believe it or not: Willow

I love this time of year, between the extremes of cold and heat of our seasons. The rebirth of our earth each year is amazing to me. I love watching everything turn green almost overnight. It’s coming soon!

  2. Our garden is in full colour now – it looks like it’s April or May already… weird weather, all over the world!

Ummm… methinks I should stay clear of that subject LOL!
