It’s almost August, but you wouldn’t know it from the weather lately. It’s actually been COOL outside in the early mornings. I’m loving it. Today’s high is 80…yes, 80! We have yet to hit 100 this summer. Of course, August is normally our hottest month, so it remains to be seen. I’m enjoying the quiet of the morning after Randy leaves for work. It’s one of the few times I have to myself. I guess that’s one of the GOOD things about getting up at 4:50 a.m.
My days are pretty much non-stop. We’re already entering hell season at work. I come home at lunch and cram down a sandwich and open my laptop to get some studying in. When I get home, I eat and watch my soap. This is the most downtime I have on a weekday. Immediately following dinner, I get ready for bed and go into the bedroom for more studying before my head finally hits the pillow. So much for those “lazy days of summer.”
I’m even listening to dictated reports that I downloaded from the course and burned to CD, to develop my “listening ear,” as they call it. Some of these doctors have marbles in their mouths, or worse!
So pardon my lack of blogging and communication. My brain hurts.

Don’t apologize Kathy!! You know it’s ok to have a life, don’t you?
Here temperatures have hit the 100 a few times, but mostly they’re hovering just below the 100 mark. I hate it… sometimes it feels as though my blood’s simmering! :fire:
