The Art of Being Busy

During worship service on Sunday, this video clip was shown. It made an impact on me, and I’ve thought about the implications ever since. (The violinist, Joshua Bell, normally plays his Stradivarius for an audience at the price of $100 per ticket.) This is another example of how our lives are moving so fast that we sometimes miss the good stuff. Being an avid music listener, I’d like to think I would have been one to stop and listen, but who knows?

Will one of the nation’s greatest musicians be noticed in a D.C. Metro stop during rush hour? Violinist Joshua Bell experimented for Gene Weingarten’s Sunday Magazine story in The Washington Post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/…
