It’s been a wonderful weekend. The rain started overnight on Friday and it has continued with only a few breaks in between. The drainage behind our house was up and running like a river. This should help the lakes fill up. I am absolutely amazed we are getting this in the middle of August. The temps have dropped almost 30 degrees, which is even more incredible.

As I type this, I am sitting upstairs…which is no-man’s land during the summer because it’s too hot. I am falling in love with Fall all over again. We have a chance of more rain through the first part of the week.
