I got a call out of blue yesterday from my sister, Paula.  She was in Clyde at my dad’s house (about 16 miles from here) and wanted to know if we could get together.  She came in on Monday and could only stay 2 nights because she had to get back to the radio stations she manages in time for the next Arbitron survey to start.  She’s also an on-air personality.  Originally, she had intended to drive up last week, but Hurricane Ike had different plans.  Thankfully, Corpus Christi overall was unaffected by the storm, although they had prepared for the worst.
