What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Enrolled and completed a vocational educational program. It took me 5 months and 3 weeks exactly from the date I signed up.
Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Although I have high hopes at the beginning of each new year, I never make resolutions. Life has a way of changes your plans, so I prefer to go with the flow.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
My former coworker, Rachael, gave birth to a baby girl on December 26, 2007. Emerson Renae Hubbard was a very special gift.
Did anyone close to you die?
My cat Willow, who was like a person, was euthanized in March. She had a terminal illness. I miss her terribly.

Canada
What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Stability
What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
December 31, my last day of employment after 25 years with the same boss.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Completing a medical transcription course.
What was your biggest failure?
Gaining too much weight.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
After a seemingly routine laparoscopic appendectomy, I had internal bleeding and almost died in recovery.
What was the best thing you bought?
An external hard drive.

Whose behavior made you appalled?
My former General Manager.
Where did most of your money go?

Going to Niagara Falls in May to see Roger Hodgson!

I don’t hate anyone.

I regret that I didn’t have the time or energy to read. Must change that in ’08!

Can’t think of any at the moment. I listen to so many different things.
What did you want and get?
A new laptop. I hate Vista though…not because it’s hard to learn, but because it has given me errors for no apparent reason!
What did you want and not get?
Nothing. I’m happy with what I have.
What was your favourite film of this year?
I’m not a movie-goer.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Went to dinner with my hubby and a close friend, then came home and spun some vinyl. I turned 45.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Comfortable. I don’t do fashion.
What kept you sane?
My husband.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Roger Hodgson. He’s an inspiration.
What political issue stirred you the most?
All of them. I avoid politics at all cost.

Willow.
Who was the best new person you met?
Mick, who I finally got meet in person for the first time!
