Breathe Deep
I went outside this morning (NO wind for a change!) and breathed in the heady scent of honeysuckles…one of my favorite flowers. They’re in full bloom and very happy.
28 …Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matthew 6:28-29 NKJV
It’s amazing how God provides.
Carole, the lady who I had subcontracted for before starting my full-time job called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to fill in for another MT who is going out of town this weekend. Although I dislike working on the weekend, I need the money and experience, so I told her “sure!” I will be doing reports and letters for 2 cardiologists and their PA. I’m a little nervous, as I haven’t done much cardiology, but Carole supplied formats and samples of their previous documents. After work today, I’ll be going over to her house to pick up the transcriber and tapes.
I think I will be needing Sunday as a true day of rest. I’m grateful for the opportunities that come my way just when I seem to need them the most.
I had to deal with a lady with an attitude at my doctor’s office yesterday about ordering my ultrasound. I had better get some answers soon. It’s not her body, it’s mine. Wish me luck. I have a feeling I’m going to need it.
Have a great Friday!
