You know that light rain I mentioned yesterday morning? It must have stopped immediately after I typed that statement. The dome went up over my neighborhood, apparently. Later in the afternoon, Randy reported that it poured in other parts of town, even just a couple of miles down the road. On his way home, it was like someone turned off a light switch. There wasn’t a single puddle or drop of rain to be had. Go figure.

Therefore, I unceremoniously dragged the sprinkler out to the deadest (is that a word?) corner of our yard this morning and proceeded to water. At least it will be a “cool” low-90s today.
