Carole was pleased with my transcription. Apparently, I did so well that she even let me do some QA on another MT’s work! That was a a learning experience for me as well, and it made me feel good that someone appreciates my efforts. She offered to let me do the same urologist’s transcription all week and I agreed. It’s not much dictation, but it will help me keep my “ear” until I get started with Amphion. I made all of $11 over the weekend, and it took me 2 hours. The transcriber and pedal are a bit archaic, which really slows me down. I know I’m going to be very slow for awhile, anyway. I’m just happy to be working and having an option for local transcription! That’s worth its weight in gold, even if it’s only $11 for now. LOL
