First of all, I want to apologize for being so selfish in my posts lately. It’s not all about me.

I had a much-needed reboot yesterday. I’m always surprised at what God can do when I just make myself available to Him. We heard a really good message yesterday, as we always do when we make the effort to walk down to the church that’s visible from our back yard. Although we are not actively involved, we know we are giving worship and getting so much more in return. Wisdom. Comfort. Guidance. Discipline. Love that endures forever. Not to sound cliched, but it really is that way, no matter how much I try to deny it. I always end up feeling surprised for some reason. Hmm. Anyway, you can hear some of David’s messages here. This is real-world stuff, for real people, right now. And no, they don’t claim to have all the answers.

I think I’ll call Susan this afternoon. Thanks so much again to all of you who are praying and thinking of her. You rock! I’m glad to have you as a friend, and I hope you have a good week. xx
