We were out doing our usual groceries-at-Wal-Mart thing yesterday morning, when we decided to do a day trip to Fredericksburg.  It had been way too long since we’d seen the city limits sign.  We’re such rebels.

We took off in the Honda S2000 and arrived at F-burg at straight up noon.  We went to Fredericksburg Brewing Co. and had lunch, then went to Rustlin’ Robs and got some Baked Enchilada dip mix and some Pepper Belly’s sweet jalapeno relish.

I think it was the first time I’ve had a genuine smile on my face for awhile.
