G-poo
Gracie was such a good girl yesterday at the vet’s. The only time she cried was in the car on the way to Dr. Bolt’s. I had never been to Dr. Bolt before and I really like him. Randy had taken Willow to him to be put to sleep a couple of years ago, but I didn’t go.
Gracie has to have surgery to have the cysts removed. There is no way for Dr. Bolt to tell what they are until he gets in there. If he can’t tell, I told him it would be ok to send them to Pathology. He feels they are sebaceous cysts, benign in nature, but can’t be sure. The first opening he had was for Tuesday the 17th. No food after 6 p.m. the night before (water is ok). We have to drop her off between 8 and 9 a.m. and will pick her up after 3 p.m. My poor baby. The large cyst on her back looks horrible, worse than it ever has, so I felt guilty when he looked at it yesterday. I told him I should have brought her in sooner.
Those of you who are parents, I don’t know how you do it. My fur babies are so important to me. You have all my respect, because I could not handle the worry and stress.
