We have a new resident. We noticed him a couple of weeks ago one morning while we were having coffee. Looking out on the back yard, we noticed a cute little cottontail rabbit. He came all the way up onto the porch. Hippity-Hoppity. Since I always feel the need to name any creature that happens to be in my presence, I call him Bunny Carlos. (Those of you who are Cheap Trick fans will get it.)

I hadn’t seem him for awhile and thought a hawk had gotten him, but Randy spotted him yesterday as he was leaving for work, then again this morning at the same time! Randy had me come outside so I could see him. He just sat across the yard from us, very still, hoping we wouldn’t eat him. My Bunny Carlos! He’s so precious. I wish I could get a photo, but I’m afraid that’s going to be next to impossible. I tried and failed miserably this morning, so you’ll have to make do with another photo from the web. I hope Bunny Carlos will hang around for a long time. He’s most welcome.
