Welcome to Wednesday
I worked 10 hours yesterday. Logged in at 6:30 and worked ’til 11:00, then logged in again at 11:30 and worked ’til 5:00. My butt went numb. This can’t be good, can it? Let’s not even talk about how my brain feels. That said, again, I’m happy to have this “problem” of a lot of work. I volunteered the 10th hour. When work slows down this fall, I’ll be glad I did it.
I have a QA Webinar today. I have my little headset with microphone ready. It’s an hour of paid downtime and will (hopefully) help me to be a better MT.
I had a big surprise yesterday. I opened up my work email (Transcription Rising Stars) and saw my name listed not once, but twice! Once for the 100% QA score for March, which I was aware of, but also under Production greater than 27,000 lines per month for March! I had noticed there was a production bonus on my online check stub but thought it might be as a team. I had no idea I had earned it myself. LOL
And so it goes. Here’s to another productive day (hopefully)!
I know how you must be feeling; I’ve doing 9-10 hrs a day for a couple of weeks now and I feel like a wet floor cloth by the time I’m home… But it’s so great that you’re getting recognition for your good and hard work! xx
Let’s not talk about Fall now when we have not even had too much of a spring, in Wisconsin. Those unexpected bonus’s are such a pick-me-up, good for you.
